The Madison Central School District reported Wednesday one student or staff member at Madison High School had tested positive for COVID-19.  Superintendent Joel Jorgenson said there were no close contacts for the school. 

As of Wednesday, the Madison Central School District reported a total of two active student cases of COVID-19 and one active staff case.  The two student cases include one student in Madison Middle School and one in Madison High School.  

Overall, the district has had 67 recovered student cases of the virus, and 34 recovered staff cases.
