Four positive COVID-19 cases have been reported in the Madison Central School District.  On Monday, the district reported two students or staff members in Madison High School and two in Madison Elementary School had tested positive for COVID-19.  Superintendent Joel Jorgenson said that the district is working with the state Department of Health to determine close contacts of one of the positive cases at Madison High School.  Close contacts will be notified by the district through e-mail and a phone call.

Jorgenson said the remaining three positive cases did not have any close contacts within the elementary or high school.

These four cases bring the overall total of positive COVID-19 cases within the district to 68 since September.
