Lewis & Clark Regional Water System preparing for increased federal funding

The Lewis & Clark Regional Water System is waiting to get more details on their share of federal infrastructure funding.

Executive Director Troy Larson said they expect to get most of the money upfront.

Larson said those millions of federal dollars won’t complete their entire three state system.

Larson said they have contracts ready to go.

The Lewis & Clark Regional Water System is currently delivering water to fifteen of it’s twenty members.  Along with the city of Madison, there are also four communities in Iowa not receiving water yet through the system.
