Lambert Nominated for Chair of National UTC Board

An East River Electric Power Cooperative employee has been elected to an office with the National Utilities Technology Council.  

Paul Lambert of East River Electric Power Cooperative in Madison has been nominated to serve as Chairman of the Council.  

Energy and water utility representatives across the U.S. nominated the new slate of officers to lead the U-T-C, effective through June of 2022. The new officers are subject to confirmation during an August meeting. 

U-T-C is the global association at the nexus of the energy, utility and telecommunications industries. Representing energy and water providers of all sizes and ownership structures, UTC advocates for the information and communications technology needed for the safe and reliable delivery of these vital services.

Lambert is a supervisor in the Telecommunications Department at East River.  He has worked in the utility telecommunications field for more than four decades. Â
