Positive COVID-19 cases increased by five in Lake County over the weekend.  As of Sunday, Lake County reported 127 positive cases, with 106 of them recovered and six total deaths.  This puts the number of active COVID-19 cases in the county currently at fifteen.

Statewide since Friday, three more virus-related deaths were reported, putting the state’s total at 173.  

New positive COVID-19 cases increased by more than five-hundred over the weekend, to an overall total of more than 15-thousand.  There are currently 3018 active cases, with 81 people hospitalized. 

Area counties’ active coronavirus cases as of Sunday include:  Brookings County with 187, Moody County with eighteen active cases, and McCook County with fifteen.  Kingsbury County currently has three active COVID-19 cases.
