LAIC accepting applications for 2022 Downtown Facade Improvement Grant Program

Downtown Madison business and property owners who want to make improvements to the exterior of their property could be eligible for a grant to help with the cost of the work.  The Lake Area Improvement Corporation has again opened applications for the Downtown Facade Improvement Grant Program. 

The focus of the program is the downtown core of Madison, generally bordered on the east and west by Van Eps and Harth Avenues, and on the north and south by North and South 2nd Streets.  Grant funds can be used on facade materials and construction, windows and doors, awnings, signage, lighting and landscaping.  

The maximum amount available through the program is five-thousand dollars per building.
