The state Department of Health is reporting four new positive COVID-19 cases in Lake County Friday.  Lake County now has 122 positive cases, with 102 of them reported as recovered and six virus-related deaths.  That makes 14 active cases currently in Lake County.

Another COVID-19 death is being reported in the state Friday.  The state Department of Health reports the total number of deaths now at 170.  There are 259 new positive COVID-19 cases reported Friday, with 89 people hospitalized.  The state still reports more than three-thousand active cases statewide.  

Elsewhere in our area, Brookings County continues to have a high amount of active cases at 182 Friday.  McCook County has fourteen active COVID-19 cases currently, and Moody County has eleven.  Kingsbury County is reporting seven active coronavirus cases as of Friday, and Miner County has two.
