Another eleven COVID-19 deaths were reported in the state on Friday.  The state has had a total of 1684 COVID-19 deaths since the start of the pandemic. 

The state also reported just more than 300 new positive COVID-19 cases Friday.  The state Department of Health reported 316 new positive cases, putting the state’s overall number of positive cases at close to 107-thousand.  There are just more than four-thousand active COVID-19 cases, and 177 people are currently hospitalized. 

Lake County had seven more positive COVID-19 cases Friday, and five recovered cases.  The county currently has 58 active cases.

Elsewhere in our area, Moody County reported 39 active cases, Kingsbury County had 32, and Miner County reported 23 active COVID-19 cases.  McCook County had 17 active cases as of Friday, and Brookings County reported 217.
