DSUnite Recently Raised Over $500,000 for Student Scholarships

The Dakota State University Foundation (DSUF) recently announced that this year’s DSUnite raised $510,000, far surpassing their initial goal of $300,000. 

The $510,000 raised this year surpasses last year’s record-breaking amount of approximately $330,000. The event featured a diverse range of fundraising activities, including silent auction items, raffle tickets, live auction items, ticket sales, and donations.

Jon Waldman, a graduate from 2004 and 2006 and event participant, shared, “Being a part of DSUnite this year was an incredibly rewarding experience. It’s amazing to see the DSU community come together and demonstrate their unwavering support for the university and its students. Knowing that our contributions will directly benefit student scholarships and help shape future leaders in various fields fills me with pride. I am honored to be a part of such a compassionate and dedicated community.”

Dr. José-Marie Griffiths, President of Dakota State University, expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support at DSUnite, stating, “The astounding success of this year’s DSUnite is a powerful testament to the dedication and generosity of our community.
