County approves purchase of new overhead doors for 4-H grounds

The Lake County Commission has authorized a project to replace overhead doors on the barn at the county’s 4-H grounds.

4-H Youth Program Advisor Jen Hayford met with county commissioners during their meeting on Tuesday to discuss the new doors.  She said that they are planning to receive grant funds for the project.

Hayford said that they wanted approval from the commission to start the process of ordering the doors pending the grant funding approval, because it could take around six months to get the doors in.

She said the doors will cost more than 14-thousand dollars and will be installed by the professional door company that they are ordered from.  Hayford said the grant funding should cover the full amount of the cost of the doors. Â
