Bike Safety Day is Saturday in Madison

Within a few weeks, school will be out for the summer and kids will be ready to get on their bikes and hit the streets.  To prepare them for a safe summer, Madison Bike Safety Day is being held on Saturday.  Bike Safety Day takes place from 10:00 a.m. until noon in the Madison Community Center east parking lot.  Kids can learn about the rules of the road and bike safety tips, and parents can learn about proper fitting of bike helmets.  Berry Fast Bicycles will also be there to provide bike maintenance, and the Madison Police Department can register bikes.  Those attending Saturday’s Bike Safety Day will also have a chance to win a variety of prizes, provided by several area sponsors.
