Ann Bond died peacefully at Ava’s House Hospice in Sioux Falls, SD on May 19, 2020 at the age of 73. A private graveside service for immediate family will be held on May 21 with a memorial service/picnic to be scheduled at a later date, Covid permitting.
Ann was born on May 14, 1947 in Rochester, MN to Lyndon and Betty Blanchard. She graduated from Kasson Mantorville High School and Austin Community College where she earned an AA degree in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for many years. Ann was known for her love and her grace in all she said and did. She was motivated by her devotion to her savior Jesus Christ and her love of His word in the Bible. Her influence on those around her was remarkable as she consistently prayed for those she loved. She was known for making beautiful quilts. She loved her family and was always looking forward to the next grandchild fix.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Mike Bond, Steen, MN; her sons Timothy (Danielle), Canistota, SD; Aaron (Mandy), Minneapolis, MN; her five grandchildren; and two brothers, Gary Blanchard, Guerneville, CA; Lyn Blanchard, Chetek,WI; and her sister-n-law Karen Hanson, Byron, MN who she loved dearly.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
