The state Department of Health reports more than 200 new positive COVID-19 cases in the state Tuesday.  No new virus-related deaths are being reported, but the number of active cases and hospitalizations increased some in the past day.  There are now just more than 22-hundred active COVID-19 cases in the state, and 97 people are hospitalized because of the virus. 

Lake County had one more new positive COVID-19 case Tuesday, bringing the county’s number of active cases to 25.  

Kingsbury County currently has 17 active cases, McCook County has 12, and Miner County reports nine active COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday.  Moody County has seven active cases, and Brookings County reports 108.
