The state Department of Health reports six additional COVID-19 deaths Thursday, bringing the state’s overall total number of virus-related deaths to 1673.  The state also reports 337 new positive COVID-19 cases Thursday.  Just under 41-hundred cases are active at this time, and 185 people are currently hospitalized because of the virus. 

Lake County reports six new positive COVID-19 cases Thursday, along with four recovered cases.  The county has had 1112 positive cases so far, with 1040 recovered and 16 deaths.  Lake County currently has 56 active COVID-19 cases, and 49 residents have ever been hospitalized.

In our area, Moody County now has 39 active cases, Kingsbury County has 30, and Miner County reports 25.  McCook County has 18 active COVID-19 cases currently, and Brookings County reports 224.
