After several days of increases, no new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in Lake County Thursday.  The state Department of Health Thursday reports four additional recovered cases in the county.  This puts Lake County’s totals at 155 positive cases, 128 of them recovered, and seven total virus-related deaths.  There are currently 20 active cases in the county.

Statewide, another COVID-19 death was reported Thursday, putting the state’s overall death toll from the virus at 193.  The state is also reporting close to 400 new positive COVID-19 cases.  There are currently more than 26-hundred active cases, and 138 people are hospitalized. 

In our area, Brookings County reports 85 active COVID-19 cases as of Thursday, McCook County has fifteen, and Moody County has ten.  Kingsbury County currently reports seven active COVID-19 cases, and Miner County has one.
