The state Department of Health reported another two-thousand more positive COVID-19 cases in the state over the weekend, and nineteen more COVID-19 deaths.  This now brings the total number of positive cases statewide to more than 39-thousand, and the total number of virus-related deaths to 375.  As of Sunday, there were 10-thousand-745 active COVID-19 cases in the state, and 366 people were hospitalized.

Lake County reported an additional twelve positive COVID-19 cases over the weekend, and fifteen additional recovered cases.  The county’s totals include 347 positive cases, 249 recovered, and eight deaths.  There are now 90 active coronavirus cases in Lake County. 

In our area as of Sunday, Moody County had 71 active COVID-19 cases, Kingsbury County had 66, and McCook County had 65 active cases.  Miner County had 64 active COVID-19 cases, and Brookings County had 382.
