ORR Hires New Superintendent
The Oldham-Ramona-Rutland school board has hired its new superintendent. The board approved a contract with Dawn Hoeke, at their meeting on Sunday.
Hoeke is a Redfield South Dakota native, and currently lives in Milbank. She is a graduate of Northern State University, and holds Masters Degrees from Valley City State University and North Dakota State University.
She has 29 years of experience as an educator including 7 years as a principal and 2 years as a superintendent. Hoeke is currently the administrator of the Koch Senior Living community in Milbank, where she oversaw the construction of the facility, and established its initial operations.
The next school board meeting for ORR is scheduled for Tuesday, March 14, at 5:30 p.m. in the Ramona Superintendent’s Office.
