Madison City Commission meeting Monday
The Madison City Commission has a number of items on its agenda for its regular weekly meeting today.
Commissioners are scheduled to hold public hearings on a liquor license transfer application for Randy Gruenwald and Dakota Butcher Madison Incorporated, and also on an amended zoning ordinance. After each hearing, commissioners will consider approval of the application and second reading of the zoning ordinance.
Also on the agenda for the commission is an assignment and assumption agreement for Madison Hospitality Group and Rural Electric Economic Development for Private Development Tax Increment District Number Two, and a temporary easement agreement for the state Department of Transportation. Commissioners will also authorize the mayor to sign a grant initiation request for federal assistance for the FAA for a project at the Madison Airport, and also to sign the employer’s subscription agreement with the Health Pool of South Dakota for 2020 Health and Life Insurance. Â
City commissioners today are also scheduled to approve the city’s 2020 alcoholic beverage license application renewals.
An executive session for personnel will be held at the end of today’s meeting.
Madison City Commissioners meet at 5:30 today in the city commission room in Madison City Hall. Â
