Madison Central School Education Foundation receives Rotary support

The Madison Central School Educational Foundation recently received a donation from the Madison Rotary Club. The donation of two-thousand dollars is this year’s contribution to the Rotary/Don Gross Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Norm Johnson Teacher Grant Fund, which are administered by the foundation.

The Madison Rotary hosted the Don Gross Memorial Golf Tournament in July to raise the funds. Gross was a member of the Rotary club for 44 years.

The Gross Scholarship is awarded annually to a Madison High School senior who has demonstrated a solid work ethic, has financial need, and has achieved academic success. Also, donations given to the Norm Johnson Teacher Grant Fund support educators in the Madison Central School District for conference expenses and fund any classroom needs.
