East River’s next General Manager Sahr looking forward to future

The East River Electric Power Cooperative Board of Directors last week named Bob Sahr as the cooperative’s next general manager. Sahr, who is currently the general counsel for the co-op, will take over on August first for Tom Boyko, who is retiring.

Sahr said he is looking forward to the move.

Sahr said he wants to continue East River’s mission.

Sahr said they face the same issues as all electric utilities.

Sahr has been with East River since 2006. He also served on the Public Utilities Commission from 2001 to 2006.
