Two more nominating petitions have been filed in the Madison Central School Board election.  Robert Bergstrom and Eric Hortness both filed their nominating petitions for the School Board election with the Madison Central Business Office Wednesday.  Bergstrom and Hortness join Richard Avery and incumbent board member Rob Honomichl in the race for the two seats open on the Madison Central School Board this year.

This Friday is the deadline for candidates interested in running for a seat on the Madison Central School Board or Madison City Commission to file their nominating petitions.

So far, three people have entered the race for the two seats open on the Madison City Commission.  Adam Shaw, Patrick Mullen, and incumbent city commissioner Kelly Johnson have all filed their nominating petitions for the city election.  Others who have taken out petitions are Jenny Wolff, Jerae Wire, and incumbent commissioner Jeremiah Corbin.

School board members and Madison City Commissioners each serve three year terms.

A joint city and school board election is scheduled for April 14th.
