Madison/Area Wrestling

The Madison Wrestling squad picked up a 48-25 dual win over O’Gorman on Thursday night, their final dual of the regular season. The night was highlighted by Truman Stoller, who recorded a pin in 26 seconds at the 113 weight class. The Bulldogs ended their dual season with a 11-5 record and will wrap up the regular season on Saturday at the Huron Invite. The Region 1A tournament is slated for next Saturday (the 22nd) in Brookings.

Madison – Class A: Isaac Henry 8th at 106, Truman Stoller 4th at 113, Sam Olson 3rd at 120, Colby Mennis 2nd at 160, Spencer Monroe honorable mention at 170 and Thonas Seppela honorable mention at 195.

Howard – Class B: Riley Genzlinger 7th at 126, Kieffer Klinkhammer 10th at 132, Lane Miller 2nd at 138, John Callies 9th at 152, Ty Beyer 7th at 160 and Isaac Feldhaus 3rd at 182.
