Two Madison golfers finished in the Top 20 at Thursday’s Bulldog Invite

West Central finished in first place by 3 strokes over Elk Point-Jefferson, while Madison finished 7th, at the Bulldog boys golf invite on Thursday at the Madison Country Club. West Central shot a team score of 335 to take the team title. Tri-Valley placed 3rd with a 348. Sioux Falls Christian was 4th, Lennox 5th and Dakota Valley 6th. 

Madison finished 7th with a team score of 377. Madison was led by Casyn Crabtree, who finished in 17th place individually with a round of 88. Braylon Oftedal was 18th after shooting 90. Cannon Hunsley shot a 94 and Mason Beaner 105 for the Bulldogs. 

Carter Langle of Elk Point-Jefferson finished in 1st place, after firing a 77. That was one stroke better than Dustin Maas of Beresford, and two ahead of Anthony Lanham from West Central. 

Madison golf has a busy week ahead. The Bulldogs will travel to Dell Rapids on Monday, Dakota Valley on Wednesday, and the Sioux Falls Christian invite on Thursday.
