Trojans win first home volleyball match of the season

DSU Volleyball started their home schedule on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Dakota Wesleyan at the DSU Fieldhouse. The Trojans’ took the first two sets 25-19, 25-20, before losing the third set 26-24. DSU then rolled to a 25-15 win in the fourth set to seal the win. 

Sydney Schell had 15 kills for the Trojans. Macey Wathen added 13 kills and 4 blocks, and Sophie Tuttle 10 kills and 3 blocks. Maddie Langerock and Madalyn Groft each had double-doubles for DSU. Langrock with 24 assists and 11 digs, Groft added 22 assists and 12 digs. 

The Trojans are at home again Wednesday, taking on Morningside at 7pm.
