Trojan’s release 2022 Football schedule

A day after breaking ground on a new stadium, the Dakota State University football team released their 2022 football schedule. The upcoming season will feature four non-conference games followed by six in the North Star Athletic Association.

The season opens at home on Aug. 25th in the 7th annual Ag Bowl against Dakota Wesleyan. It will be the 76th meeting between the schools. The Trojans have won the last five in a row over the Tigers. 

Other non-conference games include trips to Wisconsin-La Crosse on Sept. 3rd and Waldorf on Sept. 17th. Dakota State’s homecoming game is scheduled for Sept. 24 against Iowa Wesleyan. 

The conference season starts at home against Dickinson State on Oct. 1st. The Trojans play at Valley City State Oct. 8, followed by a home game against Presentation on Oct. 15th.  DSU is scheduled to play its final two road games at Mayville State on Oct. 22nd and Iowa Wesleyan on Oct. 29th. 

After taking their second bye week, the Trojans will close out the 2022 season at Trojan Field against Waldorf on Nov. 12th.

Dakota State finished 5-3 last season, tied for 3rd in the NSAA.
