Trojan Volleyball falls to Morningside 3-1

Morningside outhit Dakota State  31-20 in the final two sets to pull away from the DSU volleyball team 3-1 Wednesday at DSU Fieldhouse. The Mustangs won by the set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 25-19, and 25-16.

It was DSU’s first home loss of the season, as the Trojans fell to 3-3 overall.  Morningside raised their record to 8-1.

Dakota State will head to the Siouxland Invitational this Friday and Saturday.  The Trojans’ play York Nebraska at 11 a.m. and Benedictine  at 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon at the United Sports Academy in North Sioux City.
