The South Dakota Department of Game, Fish & Parks will hold its nest predator bounty program again this year, starting on April 1st. With concerns over COVID-19, GF&P will not be accepting tails till a later date. You are asked, if participating, to freeze all of your tails till dates and locations are determined for submission.

Starting on the First of April, striped skunk, opossum, red fox, badger and raccoon tails will be worth five dollars for South Dakota residents who submit them to the program. Participants need a hunting, furbearer or fishing license to be involved and tails eligible for submission can be harvested via trapping or hunting.
