Region 2B Cross Country Results

The Region 2B Cross Country Meet was held yesterday in De Smet with a host of area teams participating. Top three teams and the top 20 individuals advanced to the State Meet. The Dell Rapids St. Mary boys repeated as team champions, scoring 16 points – Canistota was second with 20 points and Elkton-Lake Benton placed third with 31 points. Top finisher on the boys side was DR St. Mary’s Jacob Vogel. 

For the girls side – Colman-Egan placed first with 16 points, Howard second with 28 points and De Smet third with 32 points. Top finisher was Madison Fariley of Gayvill-Volin and Howard’s Emma Neises was second. 

State Cross Country is Saturday, October 26th in Huron.
