Post 25 wins 4th game of the year as Madison tops Lennox

The Madison Legion baseball team jumped out to a 5-0 lead, then held on for an 8-5 win over Lennox on Wednesday. Madison scored 4 runs in the 1st inning, two errors and an RBI hit from Ben Brooks. Lucas Mork added an RBI in the 2nd to give Madison the five run lead. 

Lennox made it a game late, scoring 3 runs in the 6th and 2 in the 7th. But Carson Schneider got the final three outs in the 7th inning to seal the win. 

Brooks picked up the win after allowing 3 runs in the 6 innings. He gave up 7 hits and struck out 7 as well.

Brooks, Braxton Bjorklund, and Jovi Wolf all had 2 hits each. Wolf and Bjorklund each scored 2 runs. 

Madison post 25 is now 4-1 this season. They will host Volga on Tuesday.
