PGA Tour Update
It was reported over the weekend that the PGA Tour plans to use mass testing kits in order to get its season back up and running. Reported by The Guardian, up to 1 million tests could be in order, as the Tour is hoping to get their season going at the Charles Schwab Challenge the weekend of June 11th through the 14th in Fort Worth, Texas.Â
They plan on the first four tournaments of the season to be free of fans, but still around 700 to 800 personnel would be on-site. PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan said previously that the tour won’t resume unless there is “widespread, large-scale testing” in the United States.
