The Dakota State Lady T’s Volleyball squad will be in action this evening, as the North Star Athletic Association Conference Tournament gets underway from Watertown. Known as the “Super Six”, the quarter-final match-ups have #3 Bellevue facing off against #6 Waldorf and #4 Mayville State vs. #5 Presentation. Those games are slated for 10am and noon respectively today.

#1 Viterbo and #2 DSU have a bye into semi-final action. Dakota State (18-11 overall, 10-4 NSAA) will await the winner of Bellevue/Waldorf with a 5pm first serve tonight and Viterbo takes on the win of Mayville/Presentation after. The two winners of the semi-final matches will then meet for the Conference Championship tomorrow afternoon at 2pm in Watertown.

Coach Amy Veenhof says her teams knows what they need to do to get back to the NSAA title game for the second year-in-a-row.

Four DSU players were honored Thursday Night at the annual NSAA Volleyball awards reception. Barbara Briceno and Samantha Zell repeated as all-conference first team members, Hanna Jellema was named to the second team and Payton Johanneson was the North Star volleyball Champion of Character representative for Dakota State.

The Lady T’s also remain receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches Polls, their fourth straight week in the polls (School Record). Good-luck to the DSU Volleyball Team here this weekend at the NSAA Conference Tournament being held in Watertown.
