Mudcats top Lennox, Thursday District 4B Matchups Set

The Dell Rapids Mudcats advanced to Saturday’s District Championship game, with a 12-1 win over Lennox in 7 innings. Kris Regas dominated the Alpacas on the mound, and the Mudcats belted out 2 home runs. The two-time defending State Champions will take on Canova for the District title on Saturday. 

Two more Cornbelt League teams will punch their ticket to State on Thursday. The Humboldt/Hartford Gamecocks will take on Salem Thursday at 6pm, on AM 1390. The winner will advance to State, while the loser will take on Flandreau on Friday. 

Also Thursday, Madison will take on Dell Rapids PBR for a chance to go to State. The loser of that game will play Lennox on Friday. The Madison and Dell Rapids PBR game is scheduled for 8pm Thursday, on Jammin’ Country 103.
