Mudcats on top of Cornbelt standings

The Cornbelt League Baseball teams are back in action tonight. With an 11-1 record, the two-time defending state champion Dell Rapids Mudcats are currently in 1st place in the league standings, with just over two weeks remaining in the regular season. 

The Canova Gang are second in the standings with a 10-2 record, followed by Dell Rapids PBR at 8-4 and the Humboldt-Hartford Gamecocks at 8-5. Lennox, Salem, and Flandreau each have .500 records, with Madison, Colman, and the Humboldt-Hartford Wood Ducks rounding out the rest of the League standings.

The Mudcats are the #1 rated team in the latest South Dakota Class B Amatuer Baseball Poll. Lennox is tied for 3rd in that poll, while Canova is 5th.
