The Madison High School volleyball team improved to 13-6 on Saturday, with a five set win over the Ethan Rustlers. Neither team built up much of a lead in the first two sets, with Ethan taking the opening set 25-19, and the Bulldogs winning the second set 25-17.

The Rustlers opened up a ten point advantage in set three. But the Bulldogs mounted a late comeback, and despite losing the set 25-22, used the momentum to win the fourth set 25-17. That set up a decisive fifth set, which Madison won 15-8.

Abby Brooks had a match high 7 blocks and 14 kills to lead the Bulldogs. Grace Nelson added 12 kills and 21 assists, plus 3 aces.

Ethan fell to 15-3 with the loss. Madison will be back at home on Tuesday, hosting Tea Area.
