MHS takes 2nd and 3rd in Pole Vault at Mitchell

While the majority of the Madison Track & Field team was scheduled to go to Volga on Tuesday, those who compete in the pole vault were sent to Mitchell. Madison vaulters fared well, taking on a number of “AA” schools. 

Aaron Hawkes took 2nd place with a vault of 12 feet. Nathan Hasleton and Henry Meyer took 14th and 17th place overall. On the girls side, Kylie Krusemark cleared 9 feet to take 3rd place, while Ella Peterreins vault of 8 feet, 6 inches was good for 5th place. Maggie Engebretson took 10th place. 

Madison Track & Field will be back in action after the Easter break, heading to the Bobcat Invite in Brookings on Tuesday, April 19th.
