Madison Tennis Ends Season at State

The Madison Bulldogs Girls Tennis team wrapped up their season yesterday in Sioux Falls at the Class A State Tournament. In singles, CC Graham took home fifth place in Flight 1 after picking up a pair of wins on Tuesday. Mya Maxwell won her first match on Tuesday, before falling to by a score of 10-6, to finish sixth in Flight 2. Emma Kruger started the day in the semi finals of Flight 4. The Bulldogs senior lost two matches yesterday to finish in fourth place.

For Doubles, in Flight 1 – Graham and Lilly Wolff placed sixth while going 2-2. The doubles teams of Mya/Bella Maxwell and Evelyn Graham/Emily VanLiere both lost in the Consolations semi finals. Madison placed 6th as a team overall. Mitchell edged out Yankton by 8 points for the first ever Class A State title.
