Madison residents can take on current MHS players in Tennis Tournament this Saturday

Tennis Madison is holding a doubles tournament this Saturday, with Madison residents or MHS Alumni taking on the current Madison High School players.

Cost of the tournament is $20 per person, with the proceeds going to support the MHS Tennis program.

There will be an Upper and Lower division, and a green dot ball division.

Division 1 is the top players in Madison.  Division 2 is for players that might not have played for a while, or are still learning.   Division 3 is for beginners, using green dot tennis balls.

The doubles teams can be either men, women, or mixed.

Match format is full ad scoring, with a 55 minute time limit. Organizers say the goal is to have fun, play some different players, and get on and off the court in less than an hour per match. It is a double elimination tournament.

Madison summer program players can play for no charge, if you are playing with a summer program player, it will be $20 total for the team.
