Madison Maroon Flexes In Sweep of Chancellor

Behind stellar pitching performances, Madison Maroon Swept the Chancellor Wildcats via scores of 16-1 and 13-0 on Saturday afternoon at Baughman/Belatti Park. Mickale Dohrer and Riley Kearin combined for a five inning no-hitter in game one, striking out 10 batters and did not allow a walk. Trey Smith drove in five runs and scored four times.

A trio of pitches in game two combined to give up just one hit as Madison posted six runs in the first and seven more in the second. Madison Maroon is scheduled to be back in action on Wednesday at home versus West Central.
