Madison Legion Rebounds, Picks Up Home Win

Madison Legion jumped all over Dell Rapids on Monday night at Baughman/Belotti Park, leading 12-0 after three innings on their way to a 13-3 five inning win. Madison scored four runs in the first, six in the second and two more in the third before Dell Rapids got on the board. Tyler Tappe drove in four runs in the contest, hitting two run doubles in the second and third innings. Zach Whitlock drove in three and both Taylor Hojer and Colby Mennis plated a pair. Braden Eimers picked up the win on the mound as Madison rebounded from a pair of losses on Saturday.

Madison Legion will play its fifth game in as many days tonight, traveling to take on Lake Norden. So far, Madison is 2-2 in this stretch and 9-6 overall. Oddly enough, they are just 1-5 on games played on Saturday.
