On the road Tuesday night in White, the Madison Lady Bulldogs came up just a bit short in a 45-39 loss to Deubrook Area. A hot first quarter saw both sides hit four three’s and it was 20-12 in favor of the host Dolphins. The game would then slow down and become much more of a defensive affair. Madison would bring an eight point halftime deficit down to two points heading into the final quarter. Down by four late, a jumper to pull within two rimmed out for Madison and then a fast break layup for Deubrook gave them the six point win.

Zoey Gerry once again paced the offense, scoring 25 points with six three-pointers. The Lady Bulldogs, who fell to 5-8 on the season, will hope to end a four-game losing streak as they travel to take on West Central on Friday.

FYI – The Madison Boys game that was postponed on Thursday versus Beresford has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 18th.
