Lady Bulldogs Set To Have A “Battle of the Bulldogs” in Last Home Contest: Game Preview – Madison vs Milbank

The Madison Lady Bulldogs (3-14 overall, 1-4 Region 3A) are back home for the final time this season as they host the Milbank Lady Bulldogs in a Battle of the Bulldogs.

Milbank (8-10 overall, 3-3 Region 1A) is beginning to fall off the rails this season. They’ve lost their last five games and have dropped three of their last four road games. It’s a group without senior leadership and is still looking for its identity.

This team averages 47.4 points per game and holds teams to 44.2 points a game. Their five game skid is their longest of the season. Milbank doesn’t shoot it the best from deep, but they have active hands defensively and can be a problem in that regard. They thrive on easy baskets.

Brian Pauli is the head coach of the Milbank Lady Bulldogs. He posts an 81-94 overall record and is 32-24 in Region 1A. He is currently in his eighth season at the helm.

Madison is aiming to get back on track with another win themselves. After a nice fight with Canton this past weekend, this group is due. These Lady Bulldogs have shown solid improvement from the beginning of the year to now.

They’re led in scoring by Audrey Nelson with 11.2 points per game. She also leads in rebounds (6.9) and assists (1.5). Madison averages 35.9 points per game and allows opponents 57.6 a game.

If they are able to start this game fast without committing many turnovers, they can put themselves in position to win. We’ve seen various players have the ability to shoot it from deep on this team as well. Games with multiple threes and scoring in double figures.

Tipoff is set for 7:30pm with the pregame at approximately 7:20pm on AM 1390 and
