King and Johnson lead Madison Gold offense to win over West Central

Tucker King had 3 hits and 4 RBI, Luke Johnson scored 3 times, and the Madison Gold 14U VFW team beat West Central Royal 17-8. Madison put up 6 runs in the first inning and 4 more in the 2nd, before West Central answered with a 7-0 run over the next two innings. But from there, Madison Gold outscored West Central 7-1 the rest of the way. 

Beynon Lingbeck drove in 3 runs for Madison. Ben Wieman, Joey Christensen and Henry Veenhof each scored twice in the win. 

Madison Gold is now 5-3, and will host Tri-Valley on Monday.
