Johnson’s 5 RBI lead Madison Post 25 to Region 2B win

Parker Johnson drove in 5 runs to lead Madison Legion Post 25 to a 12-7 win over Flandreau in the Region 2B Legion Baseball Tournament on Tuesday. Madison scored 5 runs in the first inning to take the lead, only to see Flandreau tie the game in the bottom of the 2nd. Madison took the lead for good in the 4th, on an RBI single by Jovi Wolf. They added four more runs in the 7th to secure the win. 

Lucas Mork picked up the win. He struck out five over five innings, and gave up five runs. Parker Johnson and Jovi Wolf each finished with 2 hits, and scored 2 runs. 

Madison will take on Baltic tonight in another elimination game. The winner of that game will then play Volga tonight for a chance to take on Dell Rapids for the Region 2B Championship.
