Humboldt/Hartford Legion Splits With Brandon Valley

Humboldt/Hartford Legion split a pair of games with Brandon Valley Post 131 on Monday, taking game one 5-2 and dropping the night cap 7-1. H/H got out to a 5-0 advantage after three innings. Noah Hohn went two for three with a run and two RBIs to pace the offense. Three pitchers combined to hold Post 131 to three hits.

Brandon Valley scored seven unanswered runs in the second game to earn the split. Humboldt/Hartford was held to just four hits and Cooper Maras drove in the lone run for the visitors. Now at 9-7 on the summer, Humboldt/Hartford returns to action tonight, hosting Garretson in a doubleheader.
