Howard Football hosts Warner in 9B semi’s tonight

The Howard Tigers will host Warner in the 9B Football Semifinals tonight. The Tigers followed up an undefeated regular season, where they were never really challenged, with a pair of blowouts in the playoffs. They defeated Timber Lake in the opening round 60-6, and Ipswich in the quarter finals 54-0.

Howard coach Pat Rummel says the winning tradition that in Howard has his seniors stepping up. 

Rummel says they’ll have a school with another tradition of success tonight.

The winner of tonight’s game will take on either Wall or Wolsey-Wessington in the 9A Championship game next week. 

Also tonight, Dell Rapids St. Mary will travel to Faulkton Area and Canistota is at Sully Buttes in the 9B semi’s.

In 11B the semi’s have Elk Point-Jefferson at Sioux Valley and St. Thomas More at Winner. 

In 11A West Central is at Sioux Falls Christian, while Dell Rapids will host Lennox.
