Gamecocks plate 7 in the 8th to beat Dells PBR

The Hartford-Humboldt Gamecocks scored 7 runs in the top of the 8th inning to beat Dell Rapids PBR 10-4 Tuesday. The game was tied 3-3 entering the 8th. Broc Haldeman started the scoring with a double to drive in Joe Hanisch. Adam Hentges followed with an RBI sac fly, before RBI hits from Ryan Healy and Carter Halverson. Then the Gamecocks scored with a walk, a hit batter, and a wild pitch, all with the bases loaded. 

Cole Barthel picked up the win, tossing 8 innings and allowing 3 runs while striking out 3. 

The Gamecocks improved to 5-3, and PBR fell to 2-4.
