Four Errors lead to Madison Post 25’s first loss of the season

Madison Post 25 fell to Baltic Colton Monday 12-7. Madison scored four runs in the 1st inning, but could slow down the Post 206 bats.

Madison’s 1st inning runs came on a 3-run homer from Braxton Bjorklund and a bases loaded walk from Carsen Schneider. Madison added two more runs in the 2nd on a Parker Johnson hit, and led 7-4 after a Jovi Wolf singled in the 3rd inning. But from that point on, Baltic/Colton outscored Madison 8-0 over the final four innings.

Wolf and Casyn Crabtree each had two hits for Madison. Lucas Mork took the loss, allowing 9 runs on 9 hits. Just one of those runs was earned, as the Madison defense committed four errors. Madison Post 25 is now 3-1.
