Evdos belts two homers, as DSU Softball sweeps Viterbo

Dakota State University Softball extended their winning streak to five games on Friday, by sweeping a double-header from Viterbo in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  DSU broke open game 1 by putting up 9 runs in the 5th inning, on their way to an 11-1 win. Five Trojans had multi-hit games, led by Carrington Entringer, who went 3 for 4 with two runs scored. Rosie Philop drove in three runs, while Angela Slattery threw five innings and struck out 3. 

DSU jumped out to an early lead in game 2, eventually pulling away for an 11-6 win. Michelle Evdos was the star of the game, slugging two home runs and driving in 6 RBI. She finished with 3 hits, and 3 runs scored as well. 

The Trojans are now 15-16 overall on the season, and 10-4 in conference play. DSU and Viterbo will wrap up their 4 game series with another double-header on Saturday.
