Estelline/Hendricks Football Shuffles Early Season Due To Positive Cases

Late Monday evening, it was reported that the Estelline/Hendricks football team would not be playing their first two games of the season. The decision was made after the school consulted the South Dakota Department of Health. Two Redhawks players have tested positive for COVID-19, they both had delayed symptoms. The team can resume practice on August 31st.

They were scheduled to play Dell Rapids Saint Mary this Friday and then travel to Alcester-Hudson on August 28th. Saint Mary picked up a game at Florence/Henry this Friday, Meanwhile, Alcester-Hudson moved their game with Centerville from September 4th to August 28th and their game with Estelline/Hendricks to September 4th.
