DSU Women’s Cross Country wins covference title

 Dakota State won the second NSAA Women’s Cross Country conference championship in program history Friday morning, at Valley City Town & Country Club.  The Trojans, who received votes’ in the latest NAIA Top 25 national poll, finished with a low score of 35 points.

Valerija Curikova placed third with a time of 23 minutes, 51 seconds.  Lindsey Roth was fifth, followed by Kierra Miller seventh, and Brooke Beaucaire ninth. It was the first time in DSU women’s cross country history that four runners were named to the All-Conference team in a single conference meet.

Anthony Drealan was named the Women’s Cross Country Coach-of-the-Year.

Dakota State will run at the 45th annual NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Championships in Columbia, Missouri on Friday, Nov. 22nd.
